Why are you seeing this notice?
You reached our site through a 360 Referral Programme ambassador’s link, or entered their code in a form. This triggers two distinct processing activities summarised here:
- A technical attribution cookie (
agl_ref) that remembers which ambassador referred you. - The visibility of your progress to that person, within their ambassador dashboard — including before you complete a purchase.
What do we show the ambassador?
Only minimal data — never your email, phone number, or any payment data:
- Your shortened name (e.g. «Carlos M.»).
- The date you were registered as their referral.
- A status: before your purchase, the neutral label «Pending purchase»; after you complete a purchase, the status of their reward (registered / validating / validated / rewarded).
We never expose your full customer history, or any other data about you beyond the above.
For what purpose?
So the ambassador can administer and verify the status of their referral, and so Aviagroup can administer, audit and prevent fraud within the 360 Referral Programme.
On what legal basis?
Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation — GDPR), of both Aviagroup and the ambassador (a third party who, under Art. 6(1)(f), also holds a recognised legitimate interest). We do not ask for your individual consent for this purpose — but your right to object is central, see below.
Visibility before your purchase
We want to be explicit on this point: if you arrived via an ambassador’s code or link, that person can see you as «Pending purchase» from the moment you are registered, not only if you go on to buy. This is what allows the ambassador to follow up with you if they choose to.
Your right to object
You may object to this processing at any time, with no effect whatsoever on your purchase, your registration, or your course. You can exercise this right (Art. 21 GDPR) by writing to privacy@360aviationlife.com. We will acknowledge your request promptly and act on it within the one-month legal deadline; from that point you will stop being visible in the ambassador’s dashboard for this purpose. Objecting does not cancel your account, order or enrolment.
Your other rights
In addition to objecting, you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability by writing to the same address. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Malta, the Information and Data Protection Commissioner — IDPC; in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos — AEPD).
The agl_ref cookie
A first-party cookie on the .360aviationlife.com domain, lasting 90 days, containing only the ambassador’s code — it does not directly identify you. It is only set if you accept the «Marketing» category in the site’s cookie preference panel. You can review or withdraw your consent at any time from that panel:
